Another very busy week in nursery this week. We are very excited to share that we have achieved our Rights Respecting School Silver Award! We are so proud of all of the children and the hard work they have done to learn about and share their knowledge of children’s rights. We hope to properly celebrate with you all in the new year! Also a huge thank you to those who supported our swap shop this week. We have been trying to help the children in learning about the benefits of recycling and reusing and it’s wonderful we are able to support such wonderful causes. This week in nursery we have started to learn all about the Christian celebration of Christmas. The children have been listening to the Nativity story and learning a variety of Christmas songs. These have been uploaded onto the activity area of the Seesaw app so that you can learn them with your children. We hope that you can join us for our Christmas stay and play session for a magical singalong. This week the children have been using their amazing talents to design their own wrapping paper and have been getting festive in the role play area.
Our rights respecting school focus in the coming weeks will be:
- I have the right to rest and play
- I have the right to my own beliefs
