Welcome to Tremorfa Nursery School
Welcome to Tremorfa Nursery School website! Tremorfa Nursery School is a maintained, stand alone nursery school in Cardiff local authority. It mainly serves the community of Tremorfa, but it also attracts children from other areas of the city. The school is situated in an area of high socio- economic deprivation, with the whole of Tremorfa now being a Flying Start area. Tremorfa is rich with diversity and we have families from all over the world. We have a low percentage of children with English as an Additional Language. The school provides part-time nursery education for three and four-year-olds, with different groups of children attending the morning and afternoon sessions. Children start in the nursery at the beginning of the term after their third birthday and stay for up to five terms. The school has capacity for 120 children and also provides 30 hour childcare offer places in the afternoon for up to 26 children per day. Tremorfa is a densely populated, urban area of Cardiff.
