A Giant has been visiting our nursery this week! We have been busy finding his footprints, reading his letters and cooking him soup. In the garden we have been busy finding ingredients for his soup including apples, stones, leaves and conkers. We had to find large bowls so that it was big enough for him to eat! The children were really excited to find a letter from the giant to say how lovely the soup was and were they able to bake a cake for him next as he was hungry. We returned to the muddy kitchen to think about what to put in his cake and it was very busy with lots of helpers to bake his cake. In the art studio we have been busy exploring size using hand prints and comparing our hands developing the concept and language of size.
