Curriculum for Wales (CfW) has been designed to support children and young people develop the skills they need to make the most of life.

The National Framework promotes a more integrated approach to learning. The six Areas of Learning & Experience bring together familiar disciplines and encourage strong and meaningful links across them. This will enable our learners to build connections across their learning and combine different experiences, concepts, knowledge and skills.

The key components of the National Framework are outlined below and are the foundations of our bespoke curriculum design. The Framework does not prescribe a list of specific topics or activities. Instead, the Curriculum for Wales Framework sets out the essence of learning which should underpin them.

As a school, we have drawn on guidance and resources, to decide what specific experiences, concepts, knowledge and skills will help our children to grow and develop.
