This week in nursery we had a lovely session with our storytellers Kevin and Sarah with local O.A.P's invited to join in our sessions and play games. We discovered what songs our local O.A.P's liked and had lots of fun dancing with them. We have been busy listening to different types of music and developing our coordination when dancing. In our garden we have been busy painting exploring with lots of different paint colours. The children have shown an interest in using the large tent for pretend camping and role played cooking on a BBQ.

This week in nursery we held a surprise party for Little Red Riding Hood where we sang Happy Birthday to her, played party games and shared some birthday cake together. The children continue to be interested in telling stories during our drama project developing their creative and imaginative skills. On Wednesday we had our Lads, Dads and Grandads stay and play event where we took part in making our own rockets, explored camping in our garden, cooking on a fire in Forest School and helped to chop up fruit for a fruit salad tasting. Children have been exploring the garden in the rain, developing their independent self dressing skills, when accessing the waterproofs and wellies.
